We called here yesterday whilst having a look over to barney, well safe to say we will certainly be back, the service was brilliant along with a nice atmosphere. Our fish and chips were some of the best we've had, and the mushy peas and curry sauce was top notch aswell👌 highly recommend.

Best chippy in Barnard Castle, been numerous of times now and it’s never been a bad meal. Fish is beautiful, white flaky fish & the chips are cooked to perfection. Curry sauce is delicious.

Always when visiting Barnard Castle, I come here for the tastiest fish and chips. Now with 2 customer tables with chairs outside, I was able to enjoy my cod and chips and watch daily life go by on the main street of this lovely market town. The staff are absolute stars and thank you for your hospitality.

Rebecca and Thomas are a delight! From the moment I opened the door they were so lovely and welcoming. Fish and chips were delicious and served with a smile to my table outside. I would highly recommend you visit right on the high street especially after a walk around the castle. Perfect!
